Casper Rudolf is a palm d’or nominated writer and director based in Denmark, Copenhagen. His narrative short film IN THE SOIL premiered at Cannes 2021 and has gone on to be shown at the largest festivals in the world (Fantasia, Clermont-Ferrand, Palm Springs etc.) .
His cinematic obsession is the grotesque and his films deal with the metaphysical borders between humans and nature. Usually working with an economic visual style filled with mystique and suspense, Caspers films tend to work both at art-house screenings and genre festivals.
Currently Casper is part of the directing course aswell as acting chairperson of the leading alternative filmschool Super16, led by the students and located at Nordisk Film.
